Beethoven‘s ear tubes were manufactured by Johann Nepomuk Mälzel. Mälzel also invented the metronome and the chess Turk. The music piece „Wellington‘ s Victory“ was composed by Beethoven on Mälzels idea. Later both went into a lawsuite therefore.
Beethoven had the habit of tiring his head into a bucket of cold water. He also caused damage in the apartments below him, which angered their tenants.
